Can I take part in the Dignity Study?
The Dignity Study is for women diagnosed with recurrent chest wall breast cancer. In addition to this diagnosis, you must also meet the following criteria to be eligible to participate in this study:
- Your superficial lesion is not greater than 3 cm in depth. Your medical oncologist can assist you with getting this information.
- You have had a mastectomy.
- You are not on any chemotherapy or are willing to be washed out from current chemotherapy prior to study enrollment. Your medical oncologist can assist you with getting this information.
- You have not had more than 450 mg/m2 of doxorubicin in your lifetime. Your medical oncologist can assist you with getting this information.
- You have an ejection fraction (your heart function) greater than 50%. Your medical oncologist can assist you with getting this information.
